Day 27: #100HappyDays

June 29, 2014

Happiness is a new Fourth of July table runner! OK, I have a thing for table runners. I love making them and I really don’t know why. I think it’s because you can make one in a day, and there are no rules for table runners. Anything goes! So this is my latest creation. I used the Accuquilt star die, to cut the stars. The fabric is some heavy-duty upholstery fabric that I got for $1.50 per yard at our Restore. Love that place!!

I machine embroidered some of the words to “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” on the white stripes. If I make this one again, I think I’ll increase the font size.

I hope y’all like it. I kinda love it!!!
