Day 24: #100HappyDays

June 26, 2014

Check out my new fall table runner! It’s wool applique. I cut the leaves and acorns using Accuquilt dies and then used Accuquilt embroidery to applique the pieces onto the runner. I love it. I also have the Accuquilt stems die and so I used that to cut out a bunch of dark brown stems and tried to create a viney look. Now I can’t wait for fall to get here so I can keep it on the table!! Happy, happy!

By the way, this was my first time using the Accuquilt embroidery patterns, and I really loved them. I ordered them online and they were delivered to my email. At first, I couldn’t download the pattern, but I called their customer service and they fixed the problem lickety-split. I will definitely be ordering more of these!!
