Kwik Sew 3045

December 30, 2013

This year I made Mr. Boonetowne a Christmas gift. I know that he has been eyeing my Polartec fleece, and he’s been dropping some less-than-subtle hints that he would like something made out of the awesome fleece. So, I decided to try my hand at men’s clothing. I searched high and low for a good men’s pattern and settled on Kwik Sew 3045. This pattern went together like a dream. I was quite worried that the arms might be too long or worse, too short, but everything turned out just right. It was a Christmas miracle!! Here’s Mr. Boonetowne in his new digs:

After my past debacles with hemming the shearling fleece, I decided to try binding the endges with swimsuit material. This was a dramatic improvement and relatively easy to do.
