Jalie meets Urban Threads
I made another version of my beloved Jalie 3132 out of a knit that I found on clearance at Hancock Fabrics.
This knit was a little tricky for me to sew on. It kept puckering whenever I tried to use my sewing machine, so I had to do everything with the serger. I wasn’t sure how I was going to hem this thing. As a last resort, I decided to add bands of fabric to the arms and bodice instead of hems. On the arms, I got a little creative, and I tried to do the thumb-hole thing that’s on one of my Nike jackets.
My big excitement can be found on the back of this hoodie. I tried out my embroidery machine.
