Jalie 3132

July 20, 2013

I just tried another Jalie pattern–Jalie 3132. My first try was in some navy Polartec fleece. This is really heavy fleece (300 series)with a velour side and a sheerling side. Instead of a regular hem, I tried flipping the sheerling side over to show and using a decorative stitch. I also increased the size of the pocket and took about six inches off the overall length of the hoodie.

My second try on this pattern was in some more Polartec fleece. This time I used some of their Power Stretch fleece that has jersey on one side (green) and fleece (turquoise) on the other. I flipped the hems up again to show the reverse side and tried to do some contrast stitching in hot pink. I think my stitching is a little wobbly and the sleeves are a little short, but I really do like these hoodies. Jalie patterns rock!
