Vogue 1250

April 22, 2013

I think I was the only person on the face of the earth who hadn’t made Vogue 1250! So this past weekend I gave it a go. I used a double-knit leopardy print that I got at a Hancock Fabrics in Mountain City, Tennessee. (LOVE the Mt. City Hancock Fabrics!) So, I cut a size twelve, which worked pretty well except the drapey part was wayyyy too drapey. So, I took the top apart and attempted to reduce the neckline. I think I like how it turned out. Next time I make this pattern, I might try the size 10 or 8 up top. I’d also like to try this with sleeves. I think someone did a version of this pattern sleeves and it looked really cool.
